Of course! Although it will depend on the preference of your chosen driving instructor. It is quite common that a driving instructor might prefer you to start learning to drive in their car to ensure your safety through the use of dual control pedals. Once your driving instructor deems that your driving is safe enough they may be happy to teach you in your own car.
